About the role: Zego is currently seeking a Software Engineer to support and develop new features for our Payment Management Platform.
The ideal candidate will be a driven, team player working in a small focused development team.
The Engineer will participate in the planning, designing and developing of new feature functionality, as well as troubleshooting and updating existing applications.
The engineering team at Zego uses the Lean/Agile development methodology.
A high degree of teamwork and proactiveness are essential for this position.

Attend ceremonies of the Agile development processes as implemented at Zego Participate in structured self-learning events and share with team members Minimum Qualifications: 2 years’ experience as a Software Engineer Solid understanding on object-oriented programming principles Hands-on experience with analyzing, writing and optimizing complex SQL statements Knowledge of MVC design pattern Fluent with Git tools and platforms Strong understanding of web services (SOAP and REST) and single-sign-on (SSO) Knowledge of web technologies; HTML5, CSS, JavaScript Ability to demonstrate advanced software engineering concepts, design patterns and illustrate examples of working with software that integrates with third party solutions Proven ability to communicate effectively with other business stakeholders Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or a related field preferred, but not required Experience working with at least one of the leading OOP programming languages.
Including, but not limited to PHP, Java Experience working with JavaScript platforms and frameworks, specifically Node.

js Experience integrating third party APIs Experience with NoSQL databases Knowledge of Cloud Service Providers (especially AWS) Knowledge of modern ORM frameworks The US base salary range for this full-time position is $70,000 - $105,000 + bonus (if applicable) + benefits.
Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
