We are looking for an experienced Testing Automation Engineer to join our Enterprise Testing Team.
As a Test automation Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with leading full-service global insurance broker providing property and casualty, life and health, employee benefits, investment and risk management products and services.
In this position, you will be a key player in ensuring that the applications meet requirements and are within total quality management standards.
You will be responsible for developing an automation test strategy, designing, and implementing an automation framework that suits our applications, developing and executing automated tests for our web apps and APIs.
This role requires good understanding of fundamental software testing practices which will enable them to collaborate with the team and develop manual and automated tests in the most efficient way possible.

Responsibilities: Work closely with Testing Manager to develop an automation test strategy.
Design and implement a robust automation framework that can be used across the projects.
Analyze requirements and create test scenarios/test cases by working collaboratively with Business Analysts and Subject Matter Experts.
Evaluate functional and non-functional requirements for testability, and test cases and use cases for automation feasibility.
Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot automated suites of tests through continuous integration for value-added feedback.
Create and execute manual test cases as per the project needs.
Develop and execute performance tests for our applications as needed.
Reproduce, debug, and isolate problems and verify fixes.
Support the testing activities of multiple projects and applications as required.
Participate in Agile team activities including daily stand-up, release planning, sprint planning and end of sprint ceremonies.
Drive innovation/adoption of Industry practices through investigation/institutionalization of new tools/methods/standards.
Conduct Proof of Concept to assess the feasibility of implementing any new automation testing solutions.
Estimate own testing tasks and work productively with minimum supervision while showing an excellent team attitude.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: 8+ years of industry experience in Software Quality Assurance.
At least 5 years of experience as Test Automation Engineer.
Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools, with demonstrated experience in Automation and Manual testing roles.
Experience with Insurance domain.
Strong, object-oriented design and coding skills.
Strong understanding and hands on experience with JavaScript, Java or Python Coding experience with automated testing frameworks based on Selenium, Cucumber, Cypress etc.
Experience using test management, bug tracking and source code management tools (JIRA, Tricentis, Git, Bitbucket, etc.
) Experience with UiPath Test Management and Test Automation is a plus.
Hands on experience with Performance Testing using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner etc.
is desired.
Ability to write complex SQL queries to validate data changes or troubleshoot issues.
Experienced in Agile or Scrum software development methodologies.
Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions.
Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize and deliver stories independently, communicate bugs and risks.
Comfortable working with cross functional teams to keep up with fast paced projects and deliver high quality products to customer.
Education: Required: Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline Preferred: Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline Although hybrid to a local HUB office is desirable, this position is open to remote candidates.
