We are currently seeking a dependable Service Technician to join us in maintaining our legacy of exceptional service.
In this role, you'll perform a full range of on-site maintenance and repairs on assigned products, contributing to our commitment to excellence.

Role Responsibilities: Device Assessment and Troubleshooting: Observe and troubleshoot mechanical devices.
Dismantle and inspect for defects.
Adjustment and Repair: Adjust and repair functional parts.
Installation and Maintenance: Install special parts and conduct preventive maintenance.
Metalworking and Electrical Repairs: Operate metalworking tools for part fabrication.
Repair electrical equipment.
Customer Interaction and Documentation: Handle repair requests and document service visits.
Obtain customer PO# for repair expenses.
Testing and Quality Assurance: Test device performance and troubleshoot for future needs.
Quoting and Purchase Orders: Prepare service quotes and initiate purchase orders.
Progress Tracking and Record Keeping: Demonstrate progress in technical abilities.
Maintain an updated service literature file.

Qualifications: Your Passport to Success with PackSmart Experience and Education: Minimum two years of relevant experience.
Associate degree in business or technical training preferred.
Technical Proficiency: Microsoft Office Suite knowledge.
Ability to read electrical schematics and process diagrams.
Communication Skills: Ability to demonstrate clear communication of technical information.
Essential Attributes: Valid Driver License.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Self-directed with excellent interpersonal skills.
Physical Capabilities: Regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
Comfortable in warehouse environment conditions.
Flexibility and Certifications: Flexible schedule, including limited weekends.
Forklift or relevant equipment certifications are a plus.
Willingness to Travel: Able to travel locally to ensure service excellence for our customers.
