Associate Order Management Representative

Cleveland-Cliffs Steel has an immediate opportunity for an Associate Order Management Representative at our East Chicago, IN office.
As an Associate Order Management Representative at Cleveland-Cliffs Steel, you will be part of a global team making steel that goes into products that are visible all around you.

The Associate Order Management Representative is responsible for processing customer purchase orders.
Summary of Responsibilities: Understand customer purchase order, contract, and/or part specification sheet requirements and how the information is applicable to the production of the steel.
Enter orders using appropriate technologies into various entry systems.
Review and check orders for discrepancies and/or errors while maintaining the relationship between the order and the SAP sales order, updating where appropriate.
Develop knowledge of internal business processes and systems.
Process customer order changes that impact the manufacturing/processing or shipment of the steel.
Review and resolve order issues with internal stakeholders.
Understand specific plant capabilities, strengths, and weaknesses.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: 2 years relevant work experience or bachelor’s degree.
Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to demonstrate attention to detail.
Ability to demonstrate time management and organization skills.
Effectively communicates with team internally and externally.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
Preferred Qualifications: Order entry/processing experience Knowledge in SAP Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams Cleveland-Cliffs Inc.
