We are currently looking for a full-time Pricing Analyst responsible for providing pricing and costing analysis in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization.
This role maintains key relationships with marketing, sales, customer service, product development, procurement and manufacturing.
In addition, this position monitors raw material, market, conversion, and competitive data to provide in-depth analysis to manage the pricing of products.

Participatory management

Provide information and data to marketing managers concerning cost structure for use in pricing products for existing and new customers
Monitor and provide analysis concerning market pricing
Understand and utilize manufacturing capabilities and routing at or between facilities, product order patterns; and applies appropriate costs
Administer the escalators for contract customers on a quarterly or semi-annual basis
Interface with customer service to manage controls for orders
Monitor and update systems in order to reflect changes in materials and costs
Work with R&D to identify costs for new products including unique or new raw materials, with routing through machine centers
Interface with Sales in the pricing aspects of the bid process for new products
Provide monthly analysis reports for identified customers tracking sales history
Track price changes and provide monthly data to plant controllers for variance analysis
Provide return analysis to marketing and management on costs related to potential new capital expenditures
When your expertise drives us.
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting preferred
1-2 years’ experience in cost accounting and/or pricing analysis
1-2 years’ experience in flexible packaging industry
Advanced and exceptional Excel experience is critical
Data modeling and BI visualization experience (Tableau, Qlikview, PowerBI, etc)
Excellent strategic development, financial, analytical, interpersonal and critical thinking skills
Strong attention to detail
Follows through on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment under time constraints
Strong time management skills and well organized
