*Position Summary:* Follow instructions of the Lead Operator, work instructions/SOPs, perform duties to operate manufacturing machinery, inspect and package final product while adhering to Good Manufacturing/Documentation Practices standards.
*Essential Job Functions:* Dept 51 - Molding: * Monitor machine operations and communicate to Lead Molding Operator any materials, machine, or personnel issues.
· Record production downtime, scrap, rejected materials and output.
· Ensure no debris on product and air clean carton if dusty.
· Replenish cartons, paper, wrap and product as needed.
· Monitor the quality of the product being packaged for proper orientation, correct date on labels.
· Place product into bags /boxes specified on work order and label appropriately.
Pack bags into cartons and apply appropriate label.
· Inform Lead Molding Operator of material shortages.
· Rework or designate rejected product as non-conforming, tear down product and return good materials to the appropriate location.
· Follow safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition.
* Will be trained and in other areas of manufacturing and perform other duties as assigned Dept 56 – Floss Threader: · Operates floss threader machines by placing the correct amount of floss threaders per cases and envelopes.
· Packages envelopes and labels envelopes boxes.
· Gathers material given from work order to start operating floss threader machine.
· Works at standard work rate while operating machines.
· Checks the quality of the floss of any excess flash or spilt ends.
· Notifies Lead Operator or maintenance of machine problems.
· Able to operate all machines in the department.
· High attention to detail and has a high sense of urgency.
· Capable of working well in a team.
· Follows safety rules and keeps work area in a clean and orderly condition ensuring that only materials from the current job are present at the machine.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Dept 57 - Packaging: · Feed product into machinery as directed by the Lead Operator.
· Ensure no debris/contamination is on the product and materials.
· Apply shipper and inner package labels as necessary.
· Replenish cartons, cards, literature, blisters, PVC, and lid stock as needed.
· Adjust and clear simple jams or contact Line Lead for complex jams.
· Monitor the quality of the product being packaged for proper orientation, correct date code, and clear complete package.
· Place correct quantity of product into bags as specified on work order and assembly specifications.
· Weight count product to assure correct count.
Apply stamp to carton and write badge number in the appropriate location on carton.
· Notify the Lead Operator of the upcoming changeover where applicable.
* Inform the Material Handler/Shop Floor Coordinator of material shortages.
Dept 59 - Packaging: * Feed product into machinery as directed by the Lead Operator.
· Ensure no debris/contamination is on the product and materials.

* Inform the Material Handler/Shop Floor Coordinator of material shortages *Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:* Education * High School Diploma or GED preferred Knowledge/Experience * Prior manufacturing experience preferred Skills · Must be able to read, speak and comprehend written work instructions that are presented in English for the effective performance of the position.

May require walking primarily on a level surface for periods during the day.
Lifting is minimal and does not routinely exceed twenty (20) pounds.
There is minimal bending, stooping, or twisting involved.
The performance of this position is primarily in a manufacturing environment with regulated temperatures, good lighting, and traditional office equipment.
Manufacturing environment requires the use of Personal Protective Equipment such as hearing protection, gloves, eye protection, etc.
PPE will vary depending on department and position.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.
50 - $18.
