is a leading manufacturer of Overhead Bridge Cranes and Supporting Structures in the area.
OMHI has an immediate opening for a skilled Welder to fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment at our facility.
This job requires the operation of appropriate equipment including welders, cutters, grinders, and measuring tools to put together mechanical structures and parts with a great deal of precision according to customer specifications.

*Job Qualifications* The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: * A minimum of 3 years welding experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
* AWS Certification 3G minimum preferred.
* Must have the ability to interpret blue prints that are metal fabrication and welding related.
* Ability to align components using calipers, rulers, and clamps * Must have the ability to read standard measuring equipment.
* Must be able to use common steel working tools.
(Saws, Torches, Grinders etc.

) * Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
* Ability to perform basic arithmetic skills such as measurement, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in order to do basic calculations * Ability to operate or learn how to operate a forklift and overhead bridge crane.
