**This role works at 1701 Northwind Hwy, Hobart, IN 46342 6:00 am - 6:00pm working a 3 days on 3 days off rotation Summary: The Operator I, I-Cut is responsible for all activities related to large volume I-Cutting.
This includes but is not limited to quality of products produced, cutting quality, equipment, equipment maintenance, and daily production reporting.
Essential Functions: The operator will be responsible for the day-to-day cutting production and maintenance of the Zund and Kongsberg cutting tables.
Read and understand job ticket to complete production.
Use job ticket information to ensure jobs are produced according to specification.
Perform quality checks according to established procedures to ensure high quality of production.
Monitor machine efficiencies & speed to ensure production levels meet or exceed standards & make appropriate adjustments.
Work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Responsible for the overall safety and cleanliness of equipment and area Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements: Ability to set up and operate a digital cutting table such as Zund, Kongsberg or Gerber Working knowledge of digital, and large format printing processes A strong attention to detail and focus on quality Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision Able to multi task well, remain organized, and handle many projects at one time Hard-working, assertive, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment Mechanically inclined and production oriented Ability to communicate effectively with other employees of the organization Ability to react quickly and make continuous adjustments to provide top quality products Must be able to read a tape measure and basic computer skills Able to stand for long periods of time Ability to work overtime and weekends when needed Supervisory Responsibilities: None Work Environment: Work in Manufacturing environment that can be loud and is fast paced Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Body Positions: Frequently required to stand and walk with infrequent and limited time sitting.

Body Senses: Must have command of the following senses: sight, hearing, speech and touch.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, distant vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus.
Must be able to distinguish minor color variations.
Strength: Occasionally must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position.
2nd Shift hours are 6:00am – 6:00pm.
Working 12 hour days, with a rotation of 3 days on and 3 days off.
Travel: No travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience: Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent Security Clearance: Amsive is a Federal Contractor and this position may require government security clearance for certain projects.
