Handyman

*Hours: *10:30am – 7:00pm *Outcome: *The Handyman will upkeep and repair tasks at the interior or exterior of company premises and will be relied on to keep the facility in perfect condition by doing various odd jobs including but not limited to electrical work and plumbing or HVAC repairs along with undertaking duties as assigned or emergency tasks.

Perform electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repair work.

Take on other installation, repair, and maintenance duties as needed and legally permitted.

Perform basic repairs (e.

, wall damage, broken windows) 4.
Complete general building cleaning and maintenance.
5.
Repair and paint doors, windows, walls, ceilings, roofs, and other parts of the building.
6.
Maintain trash and recycling receptacles around the facility.
7.
Maintain and repair air conditioning and heating systems as required.
8.
Maintain and repair tools and equipment used in various tasks.
9.
Construct and install shelving, cabinetry, and other carpentry projects.
10.
Install or replace light fixtures, switches, and outlets.
11.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations.
*Qualifications:* 1.
Proven experience as handyman.
2.
Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment.
3.
Experience operating forklifts.
4.
Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing or HVAC systems.
5.
Basic math skills.
6.
Good communication ability and attention to detail.
7.
Be resourceful and well organized with an ability to work independently and on multiple projects with minimal supervision.
8.
Apt in problem-solving.
9.
Must be dependable and demonstrate the ability to follow directions.
10.
Must be a team player.
*Physical Demands:* 1.
Standing and walking for entire shift.
2.
Frequent use of hands to finger, handle, grasp or touch of product and packaging.
3.
Climbing, kneeling, squatting, stooping, crouching, crawling, twisting, bending, and reaching.
4.
Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
5.
Works inside and outside in a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment in all types of temperatures.
6.
Be assigned and support other areas of the warehouse and manufacturing area.
