IT Field Technician at Ultimate Shine Car Wash Do?
We're seeking an experienced a Senior IT Field Technician who can join our growing team.
In this role, you will be involved in all IT activities of the Flagship Car Wash operations, under the general direction of the corporate IT Operations Manager and local business leadership.
You will be responsible for maintaining the local IT systems and services, recommending, and implementing solutions and upgrades, and providing technical training to employees.
The position requires onsite presence during regular business hours and may be required to perform work during evenings and weekends.
The Sr.
Field Technician will work with all local, district, and corporate managers to ensure proper IT support levels for all car wash operations.
This is a hybrid role with one day/week in the office and 50-75% travel the rest of the week.
What do you get to do?
Provide essential technical support for IT systems, services and processes, including network infrastructure, servers, end user equipment, security tools, applications, user accounts and access to the company information, systems and assets.
Coordinate with vendors, service providers and business operations teams on the installation, configuration and maintenance of the Point-of-Sale systems (POS), supporting infrastructure and services.
Ensure that all IT assets (end user equipment, POS systems, network equipment, Internet and cloud services, applications, subscriptions, licenses, information) are properly managed, secured and maintained throughout their entire life cycle, from sourcing to deployment and disposition.
Implement Company approved IT policies and process controls to ensure standardization of processes and configurations across the IT environment.
Deploy, configure and manage productivity and collaboration tools/solutions for Company employees.
Administer access to Company information and systems according to established cybersecurity frameworks, existing policies and user roles and responsibilities.
Remediate identified cybersecurity vulnerabilities in the IT environment.
Implement and test disaster recovery procedures and tasks, in alignment with the Company Business Continuity and Disaster Recover policies.
Research, evaluate and recommend emerging technologies based on business and operational requirements.
Train employees in software, hardware and technical processes.
What will you bring?
Bachelor’s Degree in technology / computer science OR equivalent experience
5+ years’ experience supporting cloud and on-prem IT solutions, processes, services, systems and network infrastructure like: Microsoft Azure/Office 365, AWS, IAM services, UCaaS, Windows Servers, applications, WAN/LAN/WLAN systems and services, firewalls, EDR solutions, SQL services, etc
Experience with Cybersecurity operations, tools, systems and processes
Experience with Point-of-Sale systems (POS), preferred but not required.
Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell or similar) preferred, but not required • Experience working and comfortable operating in a fast-paced organization, with an M&A-driven growth strategy, where system consolidation, acquisition integration and speed to market are key success factors.
