Position Summary:
The Assembler position will be responsible for assembling parts and components in order to make a finished good product such as oral care displays and kits for the retail customer.
Essential Job Functions:
Produces displays and kits by assembling components and subassemblies
Produces hand pack components by packing components and subassemblies
Follows detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures
Contributes to team effort by working together to finish a display or kit
Reports issues with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to supervisor
To be able to lift up to 40 lbs and work at the front of the line packaging, stacking, building pallets to Pallet Specification Sheet
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
Operates material handling equipment including, hand pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks and utility carts
Material handling responsibilities including separating material for work orders, put away materials in locations when material is ordered
When the De Vanning Team is short staffed, have the ability to unload containers with other team members.
Education
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge/Experience
1-3 years of experience assembling components, subassemblies, displays, and kits
Prior exposure in a manufacturing or distribution environment
Skills
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
Must be able to speak, read and write in English
Good Oral communication skills
Abilities
