Position Summary: Follow instructions of the Lead Operator, work instructions/SOPs, perform duties to operate manufacturing machinery, inspect and package final product while adhering to Good Manufacturing/Documentation Practices standards.
Dept 57 - Packaging: Feed product into machinery as directed by the Lead Operator.
Ensure no debris/contamination is on the product and materials.
Apply shipper and inner package labels as necessary.
Replenish cartons, cards, literature, blisters, PVC, and lid stock as needed.
Adjust and clear simple jams or contact Line Lead for complex jams.
Monitor the quality of the product being packaged for proper orientation, correct date code, and clear complete package.
Place correct quantity of product into bags as specified on work order and assembly specifications.
Weight count product to assure correct count.
Apply stamp to carton and write badge number in the appropriate location on carton.
Notify the Lead Operator of the upcoming changeover where applicable.
Inform the Material Handler/Shop Floor Coordinator of material shortages Education High School Diploma or GED preferred Knowledge/Experience Prior manufacturing experience preferred Skills Must be able to read, speak and comprehend written work instructions that are presented in English for the effective performance of the position.
