Position Overview: As the Total Rewards Manager, you are responsible for designing, implementing, and managing an innovative and competitive total rewards strategy to promote the attraction, retention, and advancement of employees at Tricoci Salon | Spa.
Program strategy includes but is not limited to compensation, benefits, recognition, and wellness In this newly created role, you will recommend and implement ‘best in class’ programs to support the company’s Employee Value Proposition (EVP).
This role reports directly to the SVP People & Culture.
Role Responsibilities: Total Rewards, EVP and DEI Oversee company’s Total Rewards programs including compensation, benefits, rewards, recognition, and wellness initiatives.
Recommend and implement innovative and competitive programs to align with the company’s vision, culture, and DEI strategy to create a ‘best in class’ total rewards package.
Lead the company’s EVP strategy through external subject matter expert partnership and internal cross-functional teams; provide monthly reporting and progress updates.
Support the retention of employees through the development of recognition programs.
Compensation Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure the company’s compensation packages are competitive; recommend and implement program design changes.
Participate in salary surveys and stay current on compensation trends in the market.
Partner with Talent Acquisition to evaluate job descriptions and benchmark positions.
Lead annual bonus and merit review process ensuring timely and accurate processing.
Benefits Manage benefits administration including health, life/disability, 401(k) and time off programs.
Lead the annual open enrollment process including renewal negotiations and effective employee communication including live/recorded presentations for field employees.
Responsible for managing leaves of absence and accommodation requests.
Create and implement a company wellness program targeting key topics and audiences through monthly communications and webinars from internal partners and external vendors.
HRIS Create and uphold data integrity within the HRIS to ensure accurate reporting to leadership and to the company; perform regular audits and cross-check data with other departments.
Responsible for managing the HRIS platform including technical set-up, upgrades, file feeds, etc.
Coordinate with Payroll to ensure timely processing of payroll and collaborate to ensure accurate processing and communication of minimum wage updates, paid leave ordinances, etc.
Communication / Compliance Develop and deliver outstanding company education and communication materials to enhance employees’ understanding and engagement with their compensation and benefits.
Partner with Talent Acquisition and Marketing to support recruitment campaigns through the creation of flyers, social media content, etc.
Responsible for managing the total rewards budget and negotiating contracts with vendors.
Ensure invoices are paid in time, and regular monthly audits are conducted.
Ensure all total rewards programs comply with regulations including but not limited to annual filings and notices, required audits, etc.
Ensure foundational excellence by creating/recommending SOPs and keeping content current.
Qualifications: 8-10 years experience in Human Resources and/or Total Rewards (multi-unit, multi-state experience a plus).
Bachelor’s degree and/or proven experience in a similar role; HR Certification is a plus.
Thorough knowledge of compensation and benefits principles, practices, and regulations.
Proficient in HRIS systems (Dayforce/Ceridian a plus), Excel and PowerPoint Strong ability to analyze data and provide reporting and information to leadership.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to align rewards with business objectives and foster employee engagement.
Excellent problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and the ability to think critically.

Strong customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels.
