Biotech Professional looking for a room

I work at a local biotech startup in Chicago.
I will be in Chicago for work most of the next year.
I'm looking for a place to stay when I'm in town and to keep my stuff when I'm traveling.
I have been living in various shared situations for several years and I am good at it.
Former roommates will be happy to give references.
I am clean, quiet and considerate - super easy to live with as long as you are the same.
I work full-time and I also have a side-gig as a consultant so I often come home and go in my room to do more work.
I like to cook but I don't do it a lot - maybe once or twice a week.
I am always up for a dinner together though.
I like jazz, Grateful Dead, Steely Dan, Moody Blues and some heavy metal.
Usually use earbuds anyway.
Don't watch TV but I do stream a lot.
I'm into British Cryptic crosswords so if you're good with wordplays I may hit you up for a clue every now and then.
Basically, I'm pretty chill.
Details: - I am not interested in sharing a bathroom.
No offense.
- I am on a budget.
Would like to keep it at or below $1500 including utils but I can be flexible.
- I won't have a car for the foreseeable future so being close to mass transit is a plus.
Company is in West Loop by the Green/Pink line.
- I have no furniture so I am looking for a furnished place.
- I have an Airbnb for most of January.
Looking to move in end of Jan/Feb 1 but can be flexible.
