The company is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Litigation Attorney to perform the legal practices of our growing real estate development company.

*Responsibilities*
● Preparing all documents required to file cases, including briefs and other court documents
● Writing contracts for consultant work such as subcontractors, general contractors, architects & engineers
● Reviewing contracts from loan documents
● Providing proper legal citation and statutory interpretation
● Maintaining accurate case files, notes, and reports
● Negotiating cases to meet the needs of the firm and the client
● Performing legal due diligence on properties
● Writing legal documents such as contracts, lawsuits, deeds, wills, and appeals
● Draft Purchase and Sale Agreements
● Manage any violations that might occur with municipalities
● Dispute property taxes
● Spearhead and acts as main point contact for any lawsuits that may occur within the company
● Writing and editing commercial leases
● Draft and negotiate letter of intents
● Work with attorney general and other governing bodies to settle disputes
*Skills and Qualifications*
● Licensed Attorney in the state of Illinois
● Experienced in filing and winning law suits
● Excellent interpersonal communication skills when working with clients, governmental bodies, members of the court, and other employees
● Strong organizational abilities and time management skills to handle many cases simultaneously
● Excellent research skills and techniques within Litigation
● Knowledge of various legal contracts, documentation, processes, and policies
● Analytical ability, logical reasoning and sound judgment when professionally handling their clients’ cases
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: From $80.
