*Position Summary:* *ACTS delivers the highest standards of security for airports and facilities across the country.
We are searching for a paralegal to provide executive, legal, and administrative support for ACTS' Legal Department, under the supervision of General Counsel, with respect to the Legal Department's handling of the company's legal, risk management, and compliance functions.
You will work closely with the General Counsel to carry out the day-to-day affairs of the Legal Department and will work cross-functionally with other departments to manager and effectuate special projects and assignments.
* *Essential Duties and Responsibilities:* * Maintaining the Legal Department’s record keeping systems (including SharePoint) with respect to litigation, contract, corporate governance (including Board of Director matters), compliance, insurance, knowledge management, and special projects (including legal trackers).
* Drafting and assisting with the finalization of contracts and other transactional and legal documents.
* Working with insurance brokers with respect to insurance renewals, issuance of certificates of insurance, and program audits.
* Maintaining business and compliance registrations and licensing in conjunction with internal departments, governmental bodies, and external vendors.
* Conducting and/or assisting with intra-company investigations.
* Overseeing service of process program and providing support for claims and litigation, including performing legal research, drafting memos and routine legal preservation notices, and responding to subpoenas.
* Assisting General Counsel with special legal projects and initiatives.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
*Qualifications:* * Bachelor’s degree; Paralegal Certificate or completion of paralegal degree program preferred.
* Three (3) plus years of paralegal experience with a law firm or corporation (in-house corporate experience preferred) with meaningful experience in one or more of the following practice areas: commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, insurance/risk management, corporate governance, investigations, workers compensation and other claims management.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (focused largely on Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint); experience with contract management software preferred.
* Maintain confidentiality and discretion (internally and externally).
* Ability to quickly process workflow and prioritize and manage a varied workload.
* Action orientated.

* Strong and clear communicator (both verbally and in writing).
