Akerman LLP, ranked among the top 100 law firms in the United States by The American Lawyer, is seeking a Legal Recruiting Coordinator to join our national Legal Recruiting Department.
Location flexible.
The Legal Recruiting Coordinator will support all phases of the lateral partner and counsel recruitment process, including but not limited to:
Scheduling candidate interviews and coordinating logistics, including circulating calendar requests, reserving physical and virtual conference rooms, making lunch and dinner reservations, facilitating travel arrangements and expense reimbursements, preparing detailed interview materials, liaising with search firms, greeting and communicating with candidates, and collecting and disseminating feedback
Assisting with maintenance of recruiting databases, applicant tracking, correspondence and statistical reporting
Posting job openings on various platforms
Drafting and tracking search firm fee agreements
Assisting with candidate due diligence, onboarding and orientation
Providing additional administrative support and supporting special projects as needed
Qualified candidates must have at least three plus years of law firm legal recruiting, law school career development and/or legal search firm agency experience.
In addition, candidates must have strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment.
Must have experience in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Experience using viDesktop software (or other applicant tracking systems), CE Manager, LinkedIn preferred.
A Bachelor's degree is highly preferred.
