Associate Attorney, Personal Injury

I have an immediate opening for an Associate Attorney to work in our busy downtown Chicago Plaintiff's personal injury law practice.
The ideal candidate should have at least 3-5 years’ meaningful personal injury jury trial experience.
They should be capable of independently preparing and trying civil personal injury cases in State and Federal Court and negotiating client settlements as appropriate.
Job responsibilities also include working with law clerks and paralegals in overseeing Service of Process and responding to Discovery.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written including research and writing briefs and keeping clients up to date on their files.
Strong computer skills are a must, including proficiency in Lexis-Nexis and the ability to learn Case Management software.
The position requires access to a car for some travel to courtrooms in Du Page, Kane, Lake, Will, Kendall and Cook County Suburban Courtrooms.
Salary is commensurate with experience and includes an incentive program, contribution towards law firm health insurance plan and matching 401(k).
Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $75,000.
