As a reflection of our continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity to join our Legal team as a Director, Compliance.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Compliance, the Compliance Director will lead a team that is responsible for implementing, facilitating, and managing components of an effective compliance program including, but not limited to, policies and procedures, training and education, compliance investigations, monitoring, risk assessments and communications.
This position will work closely with the Senior Director on overall strategy of the operational compliance program responsibilities across multiple TAG brands.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Act as a liaison between brand team members and the Compliance Program.
• Manage the Compliance Hotline and other internal complaints with clear documentation within the tracking system and works closely with Employee Relations and other departments as appropriate to work towards resolution.
• Conduct or direct internal investigations of compliance concerns.
• Partners with Privacy team to ensure effective privacy investigations and privacy educational needs within Aspen Dental.
• Participate in and lead part of the annual risk assessment, used to develop the annual Compliance work plan.
• Assist in the implementation of educational programs to mitigate risk.
• Assist with the compliance program implementation, awareness, and policy enforcement.
• Serve as a confidential point of contact for individuals to communicate with management, seek clarification on issues or dilemmas, or report concerns/irregularities.
• Gather statistical information, provide feedback, and prepare reports for Chief Compliance Officer and Senior Director of Compliance as needed.
• May lead projects including annual and new hire trainings, exclusion screening monitoring, and conflict of interest management.
• May lead environmental health and safety efforts including spore and waterline testing, dosimeter badges, and areas of concern as they arise within Aspen Dental.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand compliance risk exposure and support long term business objectives by identifying areas of risk/opportunity and recommend solutions to drive improved processes and performance.
• Assist with or lead other areas of Compliance to satisfy the seven elements of an effective compliance program; and
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements/Qualifications:
• At least 10 years of experience in a Compliance role with at least 2 years of experience in a people management role.
• Bachelor’s degree required, Master Degree or Juris Doctor degree preferred.
Additional experience may be considered in lieu of education.
• Strong ability to manage organizational change and communicate issues through cross functional teams.
• Proven ability to deliver presentations containing complex data, influence decision making, and present oneself and one’s ideas with clarity and confidence

Compensation: Starting at $150k DOE + bonus 25%
