Are you ready to make an impact? About the Role FTI is seeking an experienced Senior Director to help grow our Technology segment’s Legal Operations offerings and to support our growing pipeline of legal technology implementation projects such as Enterprise Legal Management (“ELM”) and Contract Lifecycle Management (“CLM”).
FTI's Legal Operations team advises and assists our clients on legal technology strategy, solutions, and systems implementations.
The Senior Director will work directly with FTI’s Legal Operations leaders as well as other industry leading subject matter experts across legal and corporate disciplines to best serve our clients.
What You'll Do Lead and conduct legal business processes and technology analysis.
Identify and recommend process improvements that are informed by knowledge of key legal technology solutions, such as ELM and CLM.
Assess client’s legal technology to identify gaps, opportunities for improvement, and prepare roadmaps with prioritized recommendations.
Lead corporate clients through the selection of legal technology solutions.
Lead clients through best practices for designing and automating legal technology lifecycle.
Translate use cases and recommendations into system design documents that are consumable by key stakeholders (legal, procurement, sell-side functions, IT, finance, etc.
) Assist clients with best practices related to management of master data.
Lead the end-to-end implementation of key legal technology solutions and their add-on offerings/modules (discover, design, configure, migrate, integrate, test, train, and deploy).
Lead the design and implementation of key integrations with other corporate ecosystem solutions such as Ariba, Coupa, Dynamics, Oracle, Salesforce, SAP, Workday, etc.
Define, develop, and implement data architecture strategy that integrates legal technology data and performance metrics with enterprise-wide data sources (e.
g.
, data lake, data warehouse).
Assist clients with the development of catered change management strategies for their legal technology transformation.
Coordinate client requirements with the solution development team, leveraging FTI’s testing and controls methodology for configurations and complex customizations.
Manage projects that result in high client satisfaction and adoption while balancing scope, timeline, margin, and deliverable quality.
Lead business development efforts such as writing and presenting proposals, networking at key industry events as well as leading other outreach campaigns utilizing key business contacts.
Learn FTI’s multidisciplinary offerings and capabilities and earn trusted advisership by assisting clients with our diverse offerings in other areas of need.
Demonstrate both your subject matter expertise by presenting or speaking at industry forums, events, or press interviews as well as writing and authoring whitepapers, blogs, and related articles.
Assist with vendor relationship management by working closely with leadership from FTI Alliance and FTI Legal Operations.
Write and quality control work product and deliverables for spelling, grammar, effective flow, and logic.
Eventually coach and develop team members to succeed both within Legal Operations and at FTI.
