This person is a key member of the MSL staff team.
This person supports all aspects of MSL program operations and works closely with program leadership to execute projects and track the progress of key initiatives.
The person will report to the Director of Operations & Outreach.
Key responsibilities may include:
· Coordination of all logistical arrangements for program events
· Management of MSL program calendars
· Document composition, editing, and formatting.
Conversion of Microsoft Word docs to PDF.
· Assembling packages to for mailing
· Monitoring and updating the MSL program’s learning management system (Canvas) site under the supervision of the Director of Curriculum and the Student Services team
· Recording meeting minutes as needed
· Fnancial transactions, including processing reimbursements, paying invoices, and initiating journal transfers
· Desired software skills: Microsoft Word (complex document formating skills), Microsoft Excel (basic data entry, tables, and formulas), Microsoft Outlook (calendar management)
· Desired Northwestern system experience: Canvas, NU Financials, EMS room reservations
Qualifications Required:
A bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience;
Strong writing skills;
High level of organizational skills and attention to detail;
Diligent and can work independently;
Experience working with confidential information;
Professionalism;
Flexibility, adaptability in a fast paced environment.
Software Required:
MS Office suite 2013 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
