The Office Administrator will be responsible for the successful day-to-day execution of tasks related to the management of the Dotzler Law office.
Dotzler Law is a growing firm and when appropriate, we endeavor to promote from within.
The Office Administrator will directly support the managing partner of the law firm as well as provide support for other attorneys and paralegals, including managing prospective client flows, scheduling calls and meetings, drafting correspondence to clients, colleagues, and other professionals, handling mailing, postage, office supply needs, inventory, and organization, general office management duties, copying, scanning, communicating with clients professionally on a daily basis, data entry, and other administrative tasks as needed in the office.
The Office Administrator is a part-time to full-time, in-office position during regular business hours (M-F 8:30-5).
The Office Administrator will be expected to be able to work independently or with little supervision (after training period), ask questions and seek guidance as needed (open door policy), prioritize and manage their work according to various deadlines, manage client deadlines and touch points, prepare documents for client meetings, and participate in client-facing meetings in a professional and courteous manner.
The Office Administrator will report to the Managing Partner who will help to prioritize assignments, provide direction & development, and mentorship.
The Office Administrator ensures the smooth running of our company’s offices and contributes to driving Dotzler Law's growth.

*Responsibilities and Duties*
* Support the Managing Partner of the firm by serving as executive assistant, managing calendar, tasks, and travel
* Support other attorneys and paralegals as necessary
* Coordinating office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance with company policies
* Support Legal Services group on ad hoc projects
* Keep stock of office supplies and place orders when necessary
*Qualifications*
* Prefer proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant, legal secretary/legal assistant, or relevant role
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
* Excellent organizational skills
* Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
* Excellent knowledge of MS Office and willingness to learn new tools (e.
g.
Slack, Clio, Adobe)
* Qualifications in secretarial studies will be an advantage
* Associates degree, BS/BA in office administration, legal studies, or a relevant field (or equivalent experience) preferred
