Position Overview:
Navistar Financial Corporation provides financing of new and used truck, bus, tractor for Navistar’s International brand truck dealers, IC Bus dealers, and customers who purchase Navistar products.
Navistar Financial is looking for a Senior Compliance Manager to develop, execute, and continuously modify a risk-based integrated annual plan encompassing regulatory compliance (including SOX), financial, and operational audits.
This position is located at our corporate headquarters in Lisle, IL.
and will be a hybrid position with 3 days in office.
Responsibilities:
Stay current in regulatory changes or requirements to ensure company compliance.
Maintain company policy management system.
Develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and related documentation.
Review and evaluate company procedures and able to identify risks or common issues.
Develop and deliver training in line with business goals and the Ethics and Compliance strategy.
Raise awareness of the compliance program to promote a culture of integrity and ethics.
Develop regular, risk-based monitoring and audits for compliance with regulatory requirements, including identification of audit universe, conducting related risk assessment and re-assess financial materiality threshold.
Assist with semi-annual Enterprise Risk Management, including interviewing key executives, prioritizing highest risk, and assessing management’s mitigation plans.
Ensure effective internal controls are in place to monitor and report on regulated activities and processes.
Develop and manage budget goals, meet deadlines, and communicate difficulties timely.
Stay abreast of leading practices both internally and externally and provide conduit for introducing those practices to the department.
Provide continuous on-the-job training, coaching/mentoring, and career growth opportunities for staff.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree
At least 6 years of audit, accounting or finance experience
At least 3 years of leadership experience
OR
Master's degree
At least 5 years of audit, accounting or finance experience
At least 3 years of leadership experience
OR
At least 10 years of audit, accounting or finance experience
At least 3 years of leadership experience
Additional Requirements:
