- Keep current with the developments in immigration law
- Write legal documents, including briefs, contracts, and memos.
- Assist with legal administrative tasks, such as organizing files and maintaining case documents.
- Participate in client meetings and assist with case management.
- Prepare for and attend court hearings, trials, and depositions.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategy
- Negotiate settlements and draft settlement agreements.
- Conduct legal drafting, including pleadings and motions.

- Juris Doctor (J.
D.
) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar association.
- Strong research and writing skills.
- Knowledge of legal administrative procedures and practices.
- Familiarity with legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw.
- Ability to litigate cases effectively in court.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
