We are seeking highly motivated Personal Injury Case Managers.

Your role will be that of connecting with new clients, requesting medical records, and completing the case analysis.
You will be required to manage a heavy request load and follow up appropriately and timely.
Other facets of the position are to support the Malman Law mission, culture, and values and align, motivate, and inspire other team members to deliver high-quality results by their consistent example and dedication to seeking justice for our clients.
*Duties:*
* Contacting new clients within 24 hours of being retained to complete intake questionnaire.
* Ensuring that letters of representation are sent out within 24 hours of claims being opened.
* Ensuring welcome letters go out within 2 days of being retained by client.
* Verifying liability and insurance coverage limits, umbrella coverage and if the responsible party were working for a third-party (Amazon, Instacart, Doordash, Grubhub, Uber, etc.
) within 14 days of retention.
* Providing telephonic client updates every 2 weeks, with no more than 10 outstanding updates at any given time.
* Make sure outstanding tasks do not exceed 50 at any given time.
* Completing the case analysis within 3 weeks of being retained by client.
* Policy limit case demands submitted within 30 days of receipt of medical bills and records necessary to collect the policy limits.
* Submitting demand letters within 2 days of all wage loss, medical records, medical bills and any other special damages being received.
* Submit 15 demands for settlement a month.
*Responsibilities:*
* Be familiar with each case in your caseload.
* Posting all case information and case dates in SmartAdvocate.
* Ensure all wage loss, medical records, medical bills or any other special damages claimed are received within 60 days of maximum medical improvement.
* Complete draft demand letters within 1 week of receiving complete medical records and bills.
* Answer backup calls.
* Perform backup intake calls in accordance with intake protocol.
* Work with all staff assigned to your cases to move the case to a desired conclusion.
* Keep client updated with copies of file documents.
* Post all costs including expected costs that we have not been invoiced for (investigators, consultants, etc.
).
* Attend mini huddles with your Team Lead.
* Attending weekly OOS meetings fully prepared with strategy notes in SmartAdvocate in accordance with the preparation guideline.
* Attend and participate in weekly firm training.
* Monitor dashboard Metrics/KPIs and successfully work toward keeping those metrics in top shape.
* Follow and maintain all firm policies and procedures.
