Aon is looking for a Claims Advocate in the Financial Services Group
As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Financial Services Group Legal and Claims Practice Group.
The qualified candidate will be based in our Chicago, IL office.

Duties and responsibilities Manage the claims process for corporate clients from start to finish, including notifying carriers of new claims.
Follow up for acknowledgment letters and coverage positions from insurers.
Assist clients and brokers on coverage issues for Directors and Officers Liability, Errors and Omissions, Employment Practices, Fiduciary, Fidelity, and Cyber policies.
Request and provide status updates from clients to insurers.
Seek consent for retention of defense counsel and settlement opportunities.
Establish lines of communication between clients and insurance carriers.
Serve as a client advocate with the insurers.
Maintain adequate documentation on all claims.
Maintain up-to-date records, including file maintenance and computer data maintenance.
Contribute to data produced by the Legal and Claims Practice Group for the benefit of internal and external clients.
Any and all other responsibilities as deemed necessary by supervisor to achieve the purpose of the job.
Required skills and qualifications 3-5 years claims, insurance or legal experience preferred.
Attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize tasks and perform in a high-pace environment.
Must possess Microsoft Word and Excel computer skills.
Minimum education Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

The salary range for this position (intended for U.

applicants) is $60, 000 to 83,000 annually.
The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
