While we maintain pleasant and fully equipped offices in Northbrook, *all attorneys have the option of maintaining a hybrid work schedule*.
Our clients include franchisees of global corporations, Fortune 500 companies, and small businesses.
Every attorney handles all aspects of employment law counseling, agency charge response, and litigation.
* *Employment Law Associate Responsibilities:*
* Counsel clients on employment matters
* Investigate and respond to local, state, and federal agency charges
* Draft and review employment policies and employee handbooks
* Handle all aspects of employment litigation, including assisting with case strategy, conducting written and oral discovery, research, and drafting pleadings, motions, & briefs
* Develop and maintain close working relationships with clients’ managers and HR staff
Required Qualifications:
* Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience, preferably in employment law, as well as experience counseling and effectively communicating with clients
* Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
* Ability to be focused, detail oriented, and “leave no stone unturned” in advocacy efforts on behalf of our employer clients
* Strong work ethic and ability to work in a self-directed manner in a fast-paced environment
* Stellar academic credentials; and
* Member in good standing of the bar of one or more states
* Our practice is nationwide and includes extensive advice and counseling work with California employers.
