This is a but unorthodox, but I figured I would post this information on Craigslist.
As of December 31, 2023 I was terminated from employment (after 23 years) as a Studio Services Print Production Manager due to my agency being recently purchased and being realigned.
I have been in advertising for slightly over 23 years, before that, I was a content manager for the Chicago Tribune's Digital City Chicago (from the America Online days).
I also had run my own sci-fi website, Chicago Sci-Fi, for a long time (and am considering resurrecting it).
My core proficiency centered around working with my in-house studio by working with client-based printers and produced anything from print ads + brochures, full-scale booth graphics for client activations (think Essence Fest and Investfest) to digital assets such as digital display/audio companion banners, social media posts for Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and providing digital assets for client websites (whether for micro or macro).
One of my major accomplishments from 2023 was working on the Atlanta InvestFest booth of a client -- that had many, many moving assets that needed to be produced.
It was with my in-house studio team that we worked together to product many assets needed in such a short period time.
It was my job to balance the workload on multiple assignments, whether they were existing clients, news business pitches or internal assets that needed to be created.
I believe, with my 23 years of experience as a production manager (or project manager to boot), I can be of interest to you.
Ideally, I am looking for full-time with benefits, but would also be interested in short-term (i.
e, 6 months) freelance gig.
I am friendly, easy to work with and I enjoy making people laugh as we work through the assignments.

I can work remotely; however, I do enjoy the office + human experience more.
