*HOURS: MONDAY-FRIDAY 3:30 PM-7:30 PM (20 HOURS PER WEEK)*

00 PH* *Function of Position:* The Janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized environment within a designated facility.
This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of staff, and visitors by upholding high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
The Janitor will perform a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to contribute to the overall well-being of the facility.
*Duties of Position:* Duties of position will vary at each account location and will be performed as assigned by the Manager.
Specific duties may include but are not limited to: *Key Responsibilities:* *Cleaning and Sanitation* * Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of designated areas within the bank, including restrooms, offices, common areas, and customer service areas.
* Thoroughly clean and sanitize restroom facilities regularly, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and replenishing supplies as needed.
* Collect, empty, and dispose of trash in designated areas, maintaining cleanliness in waste receptacles throughout the premises.
* Perform floor care duties, including vacuuming, shampooing carpets, and waxing or buffing floors to always uphold a polished and well-maintained appearance.
* Wipe and disinfect surfaces, countertops, desks, and other fixtures to maintain a sanitized and professional environment.
* Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors, ensuring a streak-free and spotless finish.
*Supply Monitoring:* * Keep track of cleaning supplies and notify the supervisor when reordering is necessary.
Possess knowledge of safe handling and storing of all cleaning products and chemicals.
*Safety Compliance:* * Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring a hazard-free environment for staff, and visitors.
* Be familiar with emergency response procedures and act promptly in case of spills, accidents, or other unforeseen situations.
*Exterior Maintenance:* * Maintain cleanliness in outdoor areas, including sidewalks and entryways.
Remove debris, snow, or ice to ensure safe access.
*Collaboration:* * Speak with direct supervisors and facility staff to address specific cleaning needs or requests in a timely and efficient manner.
* Report any maintenance or repair issues observed during routine duties to the designated supervisor for timely resolution.
*Security Awareness:* * Maintain awareness of security protocols and report any suspicious activities or individuals to the appropriate authorities.
* Follow security protocols and guidelines, especially when working in secure areas or after banking hours.
*Professional Conduct:* * Exhibit professionalism, courtesy, and respect when interacting with staff and visitors.
*Flexibility:* * Be open to flexible work hours, including occasional evening or weekend shifts for special cleaning projects.
*Supervision:* *Received by Employee:* Site Manager *Exercised by Employee:* None *Education:* *Required: *Grade school level and the ability to give and take communications.
*Preferred: *High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Some custodial cleaning experience or the ability to be trained and good communications skills.
*EXPERIENCE:* *Required: *Basic understanding of cleaning and the ability to be trained.
Ability to read basic operating instructions.
*Preferred: *One year janitorial/custodial experience.
*EQUIPMENT AND / OR MACHINES USED:* Knowledge of vacuum cleaners, manual and automatic scrubbers, shampooing equipment, various size mops, cleaning chemicals, and other miscellaneous equipment.
*WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:* This position demands good physical and mental health.
The janitor will be required to lift, carry, walk, sit, push, pull, climb ladders, bending, twisting climbing stairs and work a flexible schedule.
Ability to be on your feet for the majority of the shift, repetitive and repeated hand and arm motions and the ability to lift and/or carry up to 50-75 pounds a must.
Must possess the ability to see and hear at normal levels.
Ability to work in conditions that are not climate controlled.

Work location and shift schedules will change from time to time depending on production requirements established by Operations department.
