As a guest experience manager, you will be responsible for the daily operation of the attraction(s) and personnel.
You’ll create reports to track sales, assist customers as a cashier, game operator, ticket-taker, and problem solver, as well as assist employees with any help as needed, and be responsible for the safety and cleanliness of each attraction.
In the event of a technological glitch or malfunction, you will be able to troubleshoot and repair the problem in a timely manner.
Providing exceptional customer service is a must.
Being on time and ready to go for scheduled shifts is essential.
Responsibilities:
* Handle daily operations of business
* Prepare daily reports
* Complete a walk-through before open to ensure everything is ready
* Answer phone and provide guest with information
* Resolve any customer problems or concerns
* Assist with inventory tracking
* Perform daily cleaning and sanitation responsibilities
* Organize and set up booth for the day
* Ensure attraction is operating correctly
* Fix minor technical and mechanical difficulties
* Repair or reset attractions if not operating correctly
* Complete nightly closeout report with relevant information
* Assist groups with booking process
* Check emails and respond to guest questions
* Ensure personnel are compliant with policies and procedures
* Create hourly rotations to adequately cover positions
* Assist in development of seasonal events and activities
* Perform various office tasks such as laminating, creating signs, etc
* Direct customers where they need to go
* Redeem online ticket sales and record them appropriately
* Perform hourly walk-throughs to ensure safety and cleanliness
* Monitor cameras to ensure guests are following rules
Abilities:
* Ability to regularly stand, walk, bend, reach, sit, and lift throughout the shift
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
* Ability to occasionally use small power tools as needed
* Ability to restock items as needed
* Ability to use computers and other electronics
Qualifications:
* Ability to lead a small team of employees and foster a positive workplace environment
* Ability to provide courteous and prompt customer service
* Ability to safely operate attractions and equipment throughout the entire shift
* Ability to perform general cleaning duties to acceptable standards
* Ability to enforce company policies when appropriate to do so
* Ability to work with a team as well as independently
* Ability to be organized, give strong attention to detail, and multi-task
* Ability to follow instructions or provide instructions when necessary
* Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite products
* Ability to use computer for online ticket redemption
* Ability to provide personnel feedback when relevant and appropriate
Education and Experience:
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred
* Prior work experience in a retail environment
* Minimum 1 year of managerial experience
