We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy pool manager to manage on a daily basis the association swimming pool.
In this role, you will be required to manage the pool attendants, enforce safety rules, and manage pool equipment and facilities, among other duties.
You will be required to perform a variety of management and supervisory duties related to the overall operations of the swimming pool, and its assigned temporary employees; organize scheduling, coordinate training and communication with pool attendants.
This position reports to the Association Recreation Director.
*Pool Manager Responsibilities:*
* Manage the schedule and performance of pool attendants; includes hiring, training, coordination, instruction, coaching and overall management of pool attendant staff.
* Work with Certified Pool Operator
* Oversee proper sanitation and maintenance of pool water; ensure cleanliness of restrooms, dressing rooms and public areas; report maintenance conditions affecting facility operation and security
* Oversee the safe and proper operation of pool, ensure pool rules and safety guidelines are enforced
* Maintain order with disruptive patrons and refer any *damages or incidents* are escalated to the Association Recreation Director
* Ensuring that the swimming pool, furniture, and facilities are clean and safe
* Enforcing *safety protocols* as set out by the association
* Manage the pool cleaning and daily inspections
* Manage resident waivers
* Pool Manager can call a 15 minute safety break as needed
*Pool Manager Requirements:*
* Good time management and organizational skills
* Consistent professional appearance and pleasant demeanor
* Willingness to work on weekends, holidays, and after hours
* Willingness to enforce pool rules
* Knowledge of pool equipment and safety measures
* Expectations to work no more than 20 hours a week, cover pool attendant shifts as needed.
* Pool Opens Memorial Day weekend and closes September 2, 2024
* Hours: Monday - Thursday – 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM,
* Friday, Saturday, Sunday – 11:00 AM – 7:00PM
* Starting Rate is $22.
50/hr and could change based on experience
