_ *Direct Hire: Full-Time* *$125k-$140k *_*plus bonus*_ *Travel required: Illinois, Missouri, Minnesota, Kansas, Dakotas, and Wisconsin.
* As a *Regional Controller*, your role is instrumental to our client’s success.
Through direct management and oversight of accounting and finance units, you will work closely with the COO and CFO to manage the company’s performance and provide financial advice on all regional matters.
_Additional responsibilities include and are not limited to the following:_ * Provide operational guidance and support to regional operating units, finance, and accounting staff.
* Act as a business partner and resource for operating units within the region.
* Maintain company system of accounts, keeping records on all company transactions and assets for the region.
* Handle financial close for multiple locations, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
* Percentage completion, WIP reporting, and project accounting.
* Assure protection for the assets of the business through internal controls and monitoring performance.
* Monitor collections and payments, ensuring credit and collection procedures are followed.
* Provide corporate office with documentation regarding audits, tax, insurance, and more.
* Take part in M&A, leading integration initiatives.
* Adhere to corporate policies.
* Assist with special projects and responsibilities as required.

in Accounting.
* 15 years of industry accounting experience.
* Percentage Completion & Project Accounting skill set.
* Hands-on experience supporting multi-company/multi-location financial close processes.
* Proficiency in Microsoft, Excel, and ERP systems.
* Effective communication and correspondence is KEY for this role! Must be able to provide clear and effective communication with executive, corporate, and senior leadership team members.
* Ability to read and interpret policy documents.
* Prior experience in the roofing, construction, and commercial trades is ideal.
